Overview

Made of wood with a medium length rounded handle and a squarish paddle shape attached with 2 metal screws.
There are a number of small holes all over the paddle and top of stick and there is a hole that goes right through the stick near the paddle shape.
Some splits are fixed with squiggly staples.

Historical information

Used by bakers to slide loaves of bread and other baked goods into and out of an oven.
