The names of the children who attended the school in 1897 were; J.Day, F.W. Beeck, T. Haddleton, F. Smith, F.Wreford, W.C.A. Quartermaine, A.E. Quartermaine, A.E. Newton. The list of teachers were: Miss Ellen Farrel, Frederick Graham, Charles Webb, Miss Kate Logue, Harry Illman, Sarah Jones, Charles Hill, Fred Nadebaum, Arthur Marling, Hazel Taylor, John Leeder, Edward Drewing, Norman Kruger, Fred Judd, Mrs Susan Day, Mrs Fenny, Miss Elizabeth Fry, Miss Phylis Porteous and Miss Beryl Evans.
