Front, printed: "Rosanne Fox"; "(1910 - 2008)"; para. 1 "Called in Religion - Sr Mary Eugenius. Born in Northern Ireland, an only girl into a family of six boys. She was trained as a General Nurse in Brisbane Mater Hospital. She was appointed as the first Matron of St Anne's Nursing Home at the Opening in April 1937 by Mother Brigid McDonald."
para. 2 in italics "I appoint Sr M Eugenius in charge of this house and I charge her to see that the religious spirit is kept up."
para. 3 "As a pioneer member of the Hospital staff, she is remembered as an extremely practical manager with a wonderful sense of humour. In addition to being the Matron of the Hospital Sr Eugenius worked in Theatre and Radiology or wherever the need arose."
