1956Black and white photograph of no. 88 tram in Subiaco, likely on Rokeby Road. Mature eucalypt and Norfolk Island Pine in background. Wooden power poles are visible. Advertising (not legible) is on front and roof of tramcar.
The photograph was taken by Dr. Reece Jennings probably when on holiday in Perth in 1956. He gave this copy to Nick Aitken of Perth to be donated to the Subiaco Museum. Dr Aitken worked as a fireman for the South Australian Railways as a young man. He later became the Mayor of West Torrens, Adelaide.
