A very good photo on a postcard of Katanning taken from Amabel Street crossing which shows Mechanics' Institute, the Town Hall, the Flour mill and chimney, Piesse's Store and the Katanning Hotel.

Inscriptions and markings

On the front of the postcard on the right hand side in red lettering is "Katanning, W.A."

On the back of the postcard is printed in green lettering "POST CARD" and then underneath "PRINTED IN GREAT BRITAIN" and underneath are two columns with headings "For Correspondence" and "The Address only to be written here". In the top right hand corner is a square which marks the position to put a stamp. Along the left hand side of the postcard in green lettering is "Published by P. Falk & Co., Ltd. & Copyright"
