One of the eight founders of the club.
Prior to becoming a founder of MGGC, Ingram was a member of Royal Fremantle Golf Club. Content from “The History of Royal Fremantle Golf Club 1905 - 2005 publication” authored by Richard Fuller states that Ingram served RFGC as:
- Captain in 1957-58
- Secretary1960
He, along with many others, resigned from RFGC in 1967 after the club proposed to raise funds from members via a levy and interest free loan. With Tony Kelly they joined the other six who became the founders of MGGC.
