MGGC Men's Senior Amateur Open

Each year the club hosts the MGGC Men’s Senior Amateur Open event. The first occurrence of this was announced in Newsletter December 2006:

 

‘2007 will see Melville Glades hosting an inaugural Senior Amateur Open event that will also be a national senior order of merit event. This event will be held AM Mon 16 April and PM Tuesday 17 April 2007.’

 

The event currently has no honour board or trophy recording the results. Historical winners have been obtained from a search of club newsletters and digital records. Winners for the years 2009 to 2015, and 2022 have not yet been identified although the event was scheduled in most of those years.
