PLAYERS' Revues

Players' Revues, or Variety Shows, were a common feature of the club's social life during the late 20th century. The revues were 'home-made' entertainment where an individual or group of members would perform an act such as comedy, singing, miming, poetry, etcetera. The acts were enjoyed by members and their guests at the club and the acts were 'judged' for their entertainment value.

Newsletter March 1997 suggests that these events occurred biennially.
