Narembeen Historical Society

The Society aims to encourage the study, writing and enjoyment of the history of our district and through the activities to promote and encourage a sense of recognition of our forebears. We currently curate museums and a family history centre. Each museum has its own theme. ANZAC Museum (Old Spotter's Post building) - war memorabilia; Old Church Museum - weddings, old church items, community group display; Machinery Museum - old machinery and parts; History Museum - (Shire/Road Board building) sporting club displays, family history room; RSL museum - kitchen utensils, old shed items, school, barbers and communication items such as typewriters and telephones.
