Dowerin District Museum

The museum is housed in a 1915 weatherboard house, with a collection of primarily household items from early twentieth century until the 1930s; it was the home of the local saddler. Behind the house is a building with the original saddlery shopfront which houses a collection of items from the business houses of Dowerin from the same time, including from the saddlery, the bakery, hotel and barbers' shop.
