Paper dust jacket illustration shows the painting 'Albany, Western Australia' by Duncan Elphinstone Cooper from the nineteeth century watercolour in the Rex Nan Kivell Collection, National Library of Australia, with blue/black lettering to title. 363 pages, illustrated, maps, index, bibliography and notes. This volume has been signed by the author Donald S. Garden Nov. 1977, and later at the Royal West Australian Historical Society State Conference & the Federation of Australian Historical Societies National Conference held at Albany 2010, & hosted by Albany Historical Society (Inc).
