Kathleen 'Kay' Marian Jefferis (1900-1997), daughter of William Harry Jefferis (2867-2947) and Minnie Lane Cowen (1875-1963), was born in South Perth on 23 June 1900.
Married Walter St Clair Brockway (1888-1966) in Albany, Western Australia on 30 December 1925.
Kathleen and Walter had at least two children:
Marian St Clair Brockway (1927-2007)
Jefferis St Clair Brockway (1933-2011)
President of the Myola Club, Claremont from 1953-1955.
Kathleen died 10 July 1997 aged 97.

The Myola Club (1921-2004) began as Mrs Flower's Literary Circle through an arrangement that Ellen Jewell 'Nellie' Flowers nee Rice (1858-1942) made with Lionel Logue, to coach a group of women in the art of speech making and chairing a meeting.
Myola means 'place for knowledge' or 'meet and learn'.
The club built premises at 6 Stirling Road, Claremont which were opened by Nellie Flower on 30 April 1935.
Declining numbers, an aging membership and the high cost of maintaining the building forced the Club to close in December 2004.
