Overview

Round brass switch painted grey with knob, four fixing holes located at 2, 4, 8, 10 two (2) with screws attached. The front features three (3) black white white text labels top and centre, while two (2) small red with white text label located lower left. Connected on the back is a cut piece of grey painted electrical cabling.

On front on several black labels "AIDED TRK. / SOURCE SWITCH", "1KARA" and "NCDS". "DESIG" and "UB" on plastic red labels.

Contextual information

HMAS Perth (II) was decommissioned in October 1999 and gifted to the City of Albany for a recreational dive wreck; being scuttled on 24 November 2001. Prior to the scuttling, the City removed objects as part of preparing an ‘on-shore’ interpretive centre as per the agreement conditions by the State Government of Western Australia.
