c. 1995Black and white gloss photograph of 15 members of the Subiaco unit of Red Cross on the occasion of presentation of awards. The photograph was donated at the time of the closure of the Subiaco unit due to the reduced numbers and increasing age of the members. Mrs Patsy McCrackan is on right side (with shining earring).
The Subiaco Red Cross was a dedicated group of women who generously gave of their time and money to help the needy and disaster causes. When the members became too elderly and new members were hard to attract their decision was to close the Unit.
