TRICYCLE: RED METAL WITH WOODEN SEAT, JUSTIN DIGGINS
c. 1970 - 1979Children's tricycle formerly belonging to Justin Diggins, son of Richard and Pauline Diggins.
The tricycle has a red metal frame and a wooden seat. The three metal wheels are also red with thin, white rubber tyres. The tyres on the two rear wheels are attached with wire stitching. The front wheel is larger than the rear wheels. Sections of green rubber hosing with thin red stripes cover both foot pedals.

Made with a red metal frame and a wooden seat, this tricycle belonged to Justin Diggins, the son of Pauline and former Mayor of Subiaco, Richard Diggins, of 16 Chester Street. It was used for riding in the garden during his early childhood in the 1970s.
