Overview

Black and white photo of Sadie Diggins ans Ned Holthouse on their wedding day. The groom, Ned Holthouse is wearing a dinner suit, white shirt and bow tie. The bride, Sadie Diggins, is wearing a sheath gown with V neck and leg of mutton sleeves. Her short veil is blowing up behind her. They are standing between two bollard posts on the pavement outside The Regal Theatre, corner of Hay Street and Rokeby Road. Above their heads the current play at the time of the photograph is advertised 'Black Swan Theatre and the Melbourne Theatre Company Present 'Sister Girl'' '. A thin neon sign under this says 'Regal'. There are other posters displayed behind of plays that are to be performed later. Other references to this wedding 96.93 a-h.
