Green leather hard cover with black half calf binding and corners. Patterned end papers. 61 engravings, 20 numbered sections. Hand written Note pasted onto first inner page reads 'Bulletin July 20 1900 - At 31 March 1900 had /11285 Old age pensions in force and the Bill - Pounds Annually, Working Expense of the Department for the year etc., etc.' Many newspaper cuttings have been pasted into this book, some appear to be around 1900. (Uganda Railway, Federation Amendment to Clause 74 Proposed Conference, Boer Hope in China, Kruger's Flight etc.) Some recipes from The Australian Women's Mirror 1927 also.
