WISALTS Technical - 005

Overview

Illustration showing how the early WISALTS banks were constructed using 1 rip and 1 push or 2 pushes. Certain places continued seeping regardless of the interceptor bank or grader bank being down into the fine clay. Look for the "throughflow" and sand seam which has not been intercepted and sealed. This image is part of the WISALTS (Whittington Interceptor Sustainable Agriculture Land Treatment Society Incorporated) Collection.
