WISALTS Technical - 004
Illustrating water movement from the ridge to the valley floor. Shedding feeds into the top of the recharge finding the entrance to the start of a "throughflow" which continues downhill to the discharge point in the creek or river. Due to a blockage or barrier near the discharge point, waterlogging occurs with the inevitable deterioration and showing of salt crystals.
