Overview

White plate with brown trim and brown lettering 'C.R.R.I.A' which stands for 'Cliffs Robe River Iron Associates'.
Base: Has 'Bristile' trademark and reads 'Made in Australia', 'Super Vitrified Hotel China', '4/83'.

Historical information

Donor's husband, David Gathercole, acquired the plate from Robe River in the Pilbara in the mid 1990s. It has been kept in their house in Daglish until its donation to the Subiaco Museum in 2021.
