One is seated with hands on knees and feet crossed at the ankles while the other is standing with one hand on the back of the chair. Both are wearing slouch hats. On the back there is an address in pencil and various doodles including a score tally down the right-hand side.

Historical information

Made specifically for the soldiers serving overseas during the First World War these postcards were sent home to friends and family. These soldiers are unidentified.
