ORAL HISTORY (AUDIO): KEELEY, DENNIS
2009Born in 1924, Dennis Keeley grew up in Subiaco before moving to Mount Hawthorn in the 1930s. Keeley would return to live in Subiaco where he currently resides since 1949. He has lived in his current house since that time. He talks of his childhood and discusses briefly his military service during World
War Two, before discussing his memories of the post war community of Subiaco. Dennis talks of his personal involvements in the community speaking of his work with the Police and Citizens Youth Club and the Sub Branch of the RSL.
