Overview

A jarrah polished wood shield with a metal circular disc in the centre and a plaque underneath. The disc has a blue enamelled background with silver circles around the edge, in the centre is the white logo of C.W.A

Historical information

On the back of the shield is a description of the wood and the maker of the shield. It was acquired from the C.W.A. President. The Katanning branch of the C.W.A. closed in 2002.

Inscriptions and markings

Around the logo of C.W.A. on a silver ribbon scroll and in blue lettering reads "FOR HOME AND COUNTRY" and underneath is a silver ribbon scroll with blue lettering of "W.A."
On the metal plaque is inscribed "PRESENTED TO KATANNING BRANCH ON THE OCCASION OF THEIR DIAMOND JUBILEE 1930 - 1990".
