Overview

The Melville Glades Trophy Cabinet is located in the clubhouse in the foyer that leads into the main lounge.

The cabinet is used to display most of the trophies that represent the perpetual golf events conducted each year. Other items, such as plaques from visiting golf clubs are also on display.

The Board of Management Minutes contain several entries that suggest that the cabinets were constructed in 1988. The shelving was initially wooden and then replaced after construction with glass and improved lighting added to enhance their appearance.
