PHOTOGRAPH: SOCIAL GROUPS
c. 1925Image: The photograph was taken out of doors against a background of trees. It shows a large party of men and women arranged in three rows, with the back row standing. All are wearing informal summer clothing and many of the women wear cloche hats. Several of the ladies seated on the grass in the front row have their hats on their laps. Fifth from the right in the middle row is Mrs Grose. Under the trees at the back at the right hand side, some children can be seen next to tables stacked with empty bottles. The occasion may be a picnic and the location may be King's Park.
