TEA TOWEL: ROSALIE PRIMARY SCHOOL 100 YEARS, BROWN AND BLUE PRINT

Overview

A large linen teal towel. Tea towel is primarily painted white, with additional colours of blue and brown.In the centre of the towel there are a number of images concerning the scool. In the top left and bottom right corner are the schools logo, a rose. Top right and bottom left contain a rooster. The large central image depicts a male and female pupil on the path heading towards the school. Interlain with the images are words and phrases alluding to some of the school's history.

Historical information

Object is part of the 100 year celebration of 'Back to Rosalie Day' celebration which included the opening of the Centennial Rose Garden, ap resent to the school where current students designed their own bricks to path the way to the garden.. The event took place on Saturday the 21st October 2006.
