1967 ---1997 This Signalmans control panel controlled points & signals through & into West Merredin yard for the purposes of termination of some trains & shunting of others Also controlled the movement of trains to adjacent sidings for shunting movements , & to the loop by- pass for the purpose of crossing trains in their transit along the main line .Panel was decommissioned in March 1997 when control of rail traffic was computerised
