Historical information

Built for Bert Meecham at 146 Forrest Street, Peppermint Grove, and known as 'Hendford'. (Source: Post Office Directory 1939-1940) It was demolished by 1970, with a Revival Italianate
mansion built on the site in that year and listed on State Heritage Register.
