Features timber effects in gables, rough cast finish, multi-paned leadlight windows, verandahs with decorative posts, 'eyelid' dormer over one top window, railings around verandahs. Palm tree on right, gum tree on left, limestone wall with shrubs in the front. b) Front or side of house showing timber effects in gables, roughcast finish, multi-paned diamond pattern leadlight windows, verandahs with decorative posts, 'eyelid' dormer over windows. c) Detailed view of second storey window. d) View of river from back or side of house. Iron railing fence, built on high limestone wall.

Historical information

Originally built in 1905 as a single storey residence. Former name was 'Onnegainia'. Original owner was Charles H Akroyd-Stuart.
