ALBUM; PHOTOGRAPHIC
1870Photograph album, constructed in the form of a book on a stand.
The frame work is of wood, covered in red velvet fabric that is very worn.
It is supported by a white metal post at the rear and has a crescent shaped mirror inset into one front cover.
The front covers are padded and have a white metal clasp style catch with a simple book and latch.
Inside, the covers have card and paper picture frames attached, one with a photograph of a baby, taken at Northam studio. This is the only photograph held within.
The central portion unfolds as a concertina of paper & card photo-frames.
