A coloured photograph of Townshend Road facing South towards Hay Street, taken from the corner of York Street. There are many visible businesses on the left side of the road including National Mutual and Motorsport. There are cars parked along both sides of the road. There are also red and white parking signs on both sides of the road. In the bottom right corner of the image there is a red date stamp which reads '24 2 '88'.
Reverse: A typed label reads 'Townshend Road - Axon Street Re-Alignment, 24/2/88'. A handwritten inscription has been added to this label which reads 'Cnr York Looking S to Hay St'.
