c. 1950Black and white photo of Airways House decorated with many bunches of flowers, possibly to commemorate Perth's annual Flower Day in September. The Post Office Arcade serves as an entrance to the building. A temporary logo is attached to either side of the building's entrance: 1) Logo on left hand side is that of the Post Office (see P2005. and & P2005.12). 2) Logo on the right hand side is the Department of Civil Aviation. The building was on the north side of St George's Tce, between Wil and m & Barrack Streets. The Post Office Arcade ran through to Hay Street and Sandover's hardware store. The building was thought to be situated opposite Howard Street, Perth. On back: Neg.no. 1567G.
