Born in 1916, William Eric Hodgkinson married Thelma Esther Ashdown in 1943 and then Ethel Yvonne Chaloner in 1949. He was an accountant and lived at 5 Mitford Street, Swanbourne.
Hodgkinson was a Town of Claremont Councillor from 1964-1984 and Deputy Mayor from 1971-72.
