Black leather embossed hard cover, with gold lettering on spine. Edges of pages in gold. Inside front cover the signature M.E. Uglow. 270 pages, illustrated. Volumes 1 & II in one book. Volume II has two title pages the first has a date of 1820, the second has date of 1825 so presume this book is the later publication.
