The Ferrymen were a local band featuring Ian Walker, Chris Horgan and Grant Black, who were primarily from Roleystone, who played, wrote and recorded Celtic music. The band regularly performed at St Patrick Day events and local festivals across the state including local festivals such as the Highland Gathering and the Armadale Arts Festival.
In 2014 the trio released this album Fir Blog. That year they also gained new band members so decided to changed their name to the Jarrah Celtic Band to better represent where they were from.
The band has recorded several records featuring both traditional and original music which was recorded at a studio in Roleystone.
