GENERAL MEETINGS 1994
1994Overview
Three General Meetings were held in 1994.
The Special General Meeting of 30th March 1993 was called to consider various changes to the Constitution as advised by the Licensed Clubs’ Association and legal advice. After two amendments, the changes were approved.
The Annual General Meeting conducted on 30th March was conducted immediately after the Special General Meeting as above. The proceedings included:
- Receipt of reports from the President, Match, Course, and House.
- Approval of fees for 1994.
The proceedings of the Special General Meeting conducted on 27th July included:
- A motion for several minor amendments to the Constitution was approved.
- Elections for Vice President, Vice Captain, and Management Committee positions.
- A motion to impose a House Charge commencing in 1995 was carried after considerable debate.
The minutes have been scanned from the hardcopy book covering the period 1986 to 1995 (Item 2023.95).
