Framed Print of WW1 Roll of Honour Donnybrook and Busselton
Colour print of the WW1 Roll of Honour for Donnybrook and Busselton that shows the names of all service people from Donnybrook and Busselton who served in WW1 which is displayed in an ornate wooden frame.
In WW1 thousands of young Western Australian men volunteered for service in the Australian Imperial Force and initially fought in Western Australian battalions, although this changed as the casualties mounted. The Australian troops took pride in their achievements and reveled in their differences to the British soldiers. Their initiative and disrespect for authority were often a thorn in the side of the British High Command.
