Two small terrier dogs sit on their hind legs upon a small table, focused on a hand coming in from the right side of the frame, holding a treat.

Taken from a glass plate negative in the Mackay Gore Collection of images at EGHS, the only information about this sweet ‘doggy’ portrait is written in pencil at the bottom of the negative: “Mrs Cohorn Saturday 20th December 1910”.
