Historical information

Jayne Eliza Smythe married Thomas Anderson in England in 1858. The couple came to WA in 1864 and Thomas was appointed Police corporal at Greenough in 1870 and sergeant in 1876.
Jayne Anderson supplemented her husband's income by making dresses at Greenough.
