Overview

The obverse of the gold-coloured, metal medallion has a laurel wreath outer border. In the centre is a circular insignia depicting a black swan and 'WAGSSA' on a yellow shield over a black background. Encircling the shield are the words 'W.A. Government Schools' Sports Association'. The reverse of the medallion has a raised outer border of dots. Engraved in the centre is the name of the award, the sponsor and the year. A dark red synthetic cord is attached to the medallion.

Historical information

This medallion was awarded to the winning Western Australian government school in the 1990 inter-school baseball competition.
