Historical information

Adrian Calero Monger born 1890/1891 in Perth W.A. the third son of Francis Henry Monger & Ellen Maria Ghita Locke.
He attended Scotch College before joining the Eastern Extension Telegraph Company.
He then joined his brothers Henry & Rupert in Broome W.A. working as a shell opener & pearling clerk on their pearling schooner "Ena".
He enlisted in the A.I.F. in 1915 at Blackboy Hill Camp.
Adrian was killed in action in Gallipoli 30 July 1915 aged 24 years. He is buried in the Shell Green Cemetery at Gallipoli Turkey
