On title page lower right side in ink is written 'God giveth the increase & the serpent'. Book is dedicated by permission to the right Honourable Sir James Whitehead, Bart. Lord Mayor of London by the Worshipful Company of Fruiterers 1889. 120 pages, illustrated, index. Several newspaper cuttings one dated April 23 1910 The Australian, one article highlighted 'Grass Better than Green Crops', at back of book. Some botany specimens within pages also.
