Overview

This brochure provides information about the 1980 Glades Open golf event.

The middle pages show a course layout and the various sponsors that contributed to the prizemoney.

The rear page provides a history of the event from 1969 to 1979. Winners of the MGGC Open for this period and winners of the Champion of Champions accompanying event for 1978 and 1979 are listed. The description also recounts the difficult weather conditions that had prevailed in most of the years and expressed hope that this event was played in more pleasant conditions.

Also of note is the front page statement that the event was ''conducted under the auspices of the West Australian Golf Association'' to recognise the running of the Champion of Champions event.
