WALL BRACKETS; PAIR
Wall brackets; black wood, scrolled square frame with a horse and tree motif inside the square.
The pair of wooden wall brackets are made in 3 parts with hinged shelf & support.
The half circle bracket is hinged up, as is the bracket underneath. This latter bracket hinges sideways.
There is fretwork below the bracket.
Design of horse facing left with trees surrounding within a shield-shaped frame. Painted black, with the horse in matt paint. Shows traces of previous gilt paint.
Associated with the McCluney family of Pinecroft Homestead at Dewars Pool, Toodyay.
Donor remembers them situated either side of settee in lounge on wall
They had a pair of Chelsea Dogs with them, now accessioned in the Shire of Toodyay collection as ceramic ornaments 2001.545a,b.
