Overview

A coloured photograph of Rokeby Road facing North from between Hay Street and Barker Road. The photograph was taken from the footpath on the right side of the road. The footpath has been torn up and only yellow sand remains. There is orange safety bunting hung up along the footpath. Two men are working near this bunting. There is an area sectioned off of the right side of the road for pedestrians, and there are three pedestrians walking in this area. A red van is driving next to this area. Shopfronts are visible on both the left and right sides of the road. The signage for 'Silk 'n' Satin' is prominent on the right. In the bottom right corner of the image a red date stamp reads '9 6 '88'.

Reverse: A typed label reads 'ROKEBY ROAD UPGRADING, HAY STREET TO BARKER ROAD, 9 JUNE 1988'.
