Engraved brass plate with the words "Westralian Soaps" in reverse.
Part of the plate is worn away; the letter 's' at the end of soaps is mostly missing or distorted.
The brass plate is affixed to a rectangular metal base (possibly a copper alloy) with a slight raised edge, which is in turn attached to a wooden block for display.

Westralian Soaps Ltd started business in 1927 in North Fremantle. The company also manufactured Relax floor polish and soap, and the Truso cleansers. In addition the company produced Napso and Peak soaps as well as Peak phenyle, Peak ammonia, Peak shoe polish and Peak fly spray.
