Details
The South Perth range was located two miles east of the South Perth Zoo. The range was opened by Mr WB Gordon MLA. Mrs. Wain, wife of the president of the Club, fired the first shot at the target at a distance of 200 yards. This was the first rifle range in the central metro area soley for club use. Other clubs used the Karrakatta range which was primarily for military use.
