Overview

The 1974 Junior Pennant Team

The photograph had severely degraded after almost 50 years in a picture frame and exposed to light. Apart from colour deterioration, numerous small and two large cracks and other faults were apparent. The original is in a very fragile state.

After scanning, the original photograph has been cropped, some preliminary effort has been completed to remove blemishes, and colour correction completed using an automatic algorithm. This product is the displayed picture whilst the uncorrected image is also attached as a reference.

Historical information

This photograph was mounted in a frame and hung in the Junior's room amongst other historical images for many years. This exposure caused severe damage to the colour and paper.
