Historical information

Elijah Quartermaine's Grave at 'Yowangup', several other people are buried there. The Katanning Historical Society placed a granite stone at the foot of the grave. John Battersby carved out the inscription on the headstone.

On the back of the photograph handwritten in blue ink is "The grave of Elijah Quartermaine at 'Yowangup'. Several other people are also buried here. ? the Historical Society place a granite slab at the foot of the grave (John Battersby carved out inscription).
