1915a) Photo of Pte Harry Cullen mounted on a white/grey horse. Photo is very fuzzy. Harry Cullen enlisted in the army at the outbreak of World War One in late 1915, He ws previously a civil servant. He served with the 10th Light Horse Regiment in Egypt and the middle east. However, he received a severe eye injury and related infection while serving in Egypt. These were treated at the 3rd General Hospital in Wandsworth, London but he was eventually returned to Australia and discharged on 13/2/1917.

Harry Cullen and his brother John Patrick Cullen both joined up in 1915. They lived with their parents at 296 Hamersley Road, Subiaco. See P2015.6 a-c.
